Pakistan's FBR target of Financial Terrorism

Pakistan's Economy has been doing exceptionally well despite huge impacts due to recent wave of COVID related lock downs. CPEC and multiple Energy products through out Pakistan paved the way of solid economic indicators. Therefore, all financial institution in Pakistan have been a prime target for all nation-state actors (including multiple threat actors allegedly linked to India & Israel).
Recent Hack of Pakistan's FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) has jolted the Government of Pakistan, as it not only caused the impact on all financial transactions but it also leaked huge confidential financial data, which will have long-lasting consequences in times to come. EUNOMATIX analyzed the recent FBR hack and attempted to accumulate different active threat actors targeting FBR and related financial institutions within Pakistan.
